14 year old bags moose, deer and bear

ANDOVER -- A 14 year old has attained a hunting grand slam of sorts this fall, bagging a moose, a deer and a bear in less than three months.

Using his favorite gun, a 270 Winchester, George Wheeler III of Andover has bagged a 110-pound bear, a six-point, 193-pound buck, and a 750-pound moose.

Those sharing his experience on the moose hunt were his dad, George Wheeler, Jr., the elder Wheeler's grandson, David York, as well as Dean Ellis and Jesse Tilburg.

George, Jr. said that while they were scouting for a moose prior to the open of the moose season, his son bagged the deer.

Then, on the following Thursday, he bagged the moose.
