Santa arrives

Santa arrived by sleigh Friday evening in Mexico, carried by eight tiny...well, Utility 3. Then he stopped briefly at the fire station to light the tree with his magic remote, to the delight of many young children on his "nice" list, before traveling into the night down past Med-Care behind the sound of fire engines, with their lights so bright. He returned to the back of the fire station, where the firefighter elves arranged the furniture in the gazebo for Santa to greet each child waiting in the long receiving line, including four-year-old Grace Canwell, to talk with ol' St. Nick about their Christmas wishes and have their picture taken by grownups before given a bag of candy.
