Laughs Times Three at 49 Franklin
RUMFORD -- Three Comedians will take the stage at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater on Friday.
They include Jesse Bickford, who recently won Maine’s Funniest Comic Contest, Maine's funniest female Tammy Pooler, and headliner Rob Steen.
Steen has been doing comedy for 23 years. He began as a street performer at the age of 12 in Boston, MA. Using his juggling and improv skills he decided to try stand-up. Since then he has kept a full calendar of over 350 shows per year!
Rob has also been featured on several TV shows including, “The Late Show” with Dave Letterman where he is a frequent guest.
Rob is very high energy and will bring the whole audience together as a group with his unique style of crowd participation. His act is a mix of situations and observations that he has been in over the years of being an entertainer.
Rob has been compared to Robin Williams due to his fast paced delivery and quick wit. It is no wonder he is one of the most requested comedians in the Northeast.
Steen is also the owner of North Shore Comedy Productions, a company that books nearly 1,500 shows per year all over the Northeast. The agency is currently the largest comedy agency in New England, servicing clubs, colleges, holiday parties and corporate events throughout the area. To date, NSC has raised over $3.5 million for local charities by doing fundraisers and other events!
