Fall River Paddle

HANOVER/RUMFORD- The River Valley Growth Council, the Androscoggin River Watershed Council and the Mahoosuc Land Trust, along with two new friends this year, the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition and the River Valley Chamber of Commerce all welcome you to the 2nd Annual River Run September 22nd, beginning at 10 a.m.

Bring your canoe or kayak, but if you don’t have one let us know and we will get one for you.

If you feel energetic then begin your run at the boat ramp in Hanover. If you would like to join in, but feel the 12- mile-trek might be a little long, then you can put in at the old Madison motel site.

The end of the run will be at the boat ramp in Rumford next to McDonald’s. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served to the participants.

Enjoy a day on the beautiful Androscoggin River. Bring your camera as you might see eagles, ducks, geese and even an occasional deer or moose.

This year, the first day of fall, will be a day you don’t soon forget.
