May Fair supports Hungry Kingdom Saturday

ANDOVER- More than a dozen vendors will be on hand Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Andover Congregational Church to help raise funds in support of the Hungry Kingdom food pantry.

"This project feeds all of Andover's elementary school chidren hot lunch, snack, milk and a breakfast," noted co-coordinator Sharon Hutchins. "To date we have raised over $21,000in the past three years for the Hungry Kingdom project, and have the confident expectation we will do it again this year."

Throughout the day, there will be various vendors of home made and hand made gifts, a book signing and art work by Angelo Kaltsos, a food sale and free coffee offered to those in attendance.

"As you may be aware," noted Hutchins. "We are in the midst of negotiating efforts to keep our little school open, we feel anything we can do to bring a positive note to our children will be rewarded accordingly."
