Put down the Ho-Hos and Little Debbies
RUMFORD- There are no more excuses left for you to not get into shape and feel the best you have in years. Dawson Walton of DW Fitness at the Greater Rumford Community Center can’t make you join his class, he can’t babysit your kids for you, but he can take away on of the biggest hurdles, price.
Walton wants you to come in and allow him to help you become a better physical version of yourself. That’s why he asks for only $10 a month for unlimited body recon classes.
What is body recon? It’s a high-energy, high-rep cardio and strength training session you cannot go one more day without. And, for only $10 a month, you can’t go wrong.
Recently, I met up with Trudi Cormier, Heather Sorensen and Hannah Davis, all of whom have been attending Walton’s classes, and even though they’re sore the next day, they keep going back for more.
Following an intense workout combination of dumbbell snatches, arm swings and burpees, Cormier mentioned, “My entire body hurts, but I will be back tomorrow.”
Sorensen had not been making the time to go when the hours at the GRCC changed, but when she returned, she stated, “Body Recon, amazing and feels great to be back again. Mentally, I feel so much better. What was I thinking not fitting it in. Glad the hours are back to earlier again.”
Of her friend, and fitness classmate, Hannah Davis, Sorensen stated, “Hannah has inspired me. She has worked so hard and has dropped a lot of weight.”
In speaking with Davis, she stated that her motivation came from being asked to be in her sister’s wedding and wanting to look and feel good about herself.
“I started working out on my own at first, but then my husband and I started taking notice of Dawson and his incredible workouts. With urging from my husband, and Dawson asking me every time I was in the gym, ‘when are you gonna start training with me?’ I took the plunge and I love the workouts and the amazing results I’ve gotten.”
Davis was working out with Walton for three months before the budget fell through and the GRCC had to cut back their hours, but now she’s back.
“I have lost 16 total inches off my body, with six off my hips alone! I saw progress within the first month and just got hooked. I’m so glad to be back in there with Dawson. He knows his stuff and is very encouraging. By the way, I’ve lost 33 pounds.”
Who can bat an eye at results like that?
As Walton says, “If you’re willing to put down the Ho-Ho’s and Little Debbie’s and do the work, you’ll get the results you want.”
