Coming soon: Friday Night Live at 49 Franklin
RUMFORD- This is a special news bulletin just in from 49 Franklin, where your “Community of Comedy” comes alive! Beginning Thursday, June 13, and showing each night through Sunday, June 16, Friday Night Live will return to the stage to bring you four nights of non-stop, side-splitting laughter. Under the direction of Keith A. Grassette, local talent will once again make you blush with this adult content show.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. each night, with the show beginning at 7. Seats will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so get there early if you prefer to get up close and personal with those on stage.
What was dreamed up years ago by Duane Glover, is now the biggest hit across the River Valley. The cast, comprised of all local talent, has been rehearsing weekly for the upcoming show since January, and they’re excited to bring you another great showing.
“It was a great compliment to see how many people came out for the last one,” stated Scot Grassette, owner of 49 Franklin, with his wife, Cindy. “To have a sold out performance and decide to bring in an encore night, and to sell that one out, too, was amazing.”
This time around, show-goers can expect to see local Oxford County Sheriff, Wayne Gallant, portrayed as God. Local Hannaford employee, Zach Calden, playing the part of Teen Jesus. One of the favorites, Mike Brennick will be returning in a skit entitled, “Ask Dr. Mike.” Be ready to roll over that one.
Also on the lineup for the night is live musical guest, Dennis Moro, currently of the band Roadhouse. Moro formerly played with Dakota and opened up for Molly Hatchet.
Grassette warned that this is not a cookie-cutter type of show. There is all new material and anyone in attendance will be surprised as to what’s in store for them.
