Pete Coolidge grew up listening to his parents play music and at the age of six started fumbling around with his own musical talent.
“Back then I was playing one-finger chords and graduated to what I do now, which is basically an acoustical rhythm that is similar to John Denver, just easy listening,” noted Coolidge.
Coolidge writes and performs his own music after spending some time playing with a few bands over the years. He noted that after volunteering a little of his time for the contractor days at Andover Elementary, he and his wife wanted to give more of themselves to help save the school.
“I figure the best I can give is my music and time to play it.”
Sponsors for the event include The Little Red Hen Diner, Wood Is Good, MacGregor Electric and Ellis Pond Variety.
