Open house upcoming for I'l B Fit

RUMFORD -- I'l B Fit, a fitness business in the former Curves facility in the River Valley Tech Center, will hold an house from 2-6 p.m. this Friday and Saturday.
Cindy Freeman, a longtime client of Curves, purchased the 15 machines used by Curves and added three other machines, as well as equipment for a floor workout.
The business is named after her daughter, Ivy Lynn Benner, who will be the manager of the facility.
I'l B Fit is for women only during normal operating hours, which are 7-11 a.m. and 2-6 p.m. weekdays, with a coach on the floor at all times. Ladies ages 14-18 require parental concent. No one under age 14 will be permitted.
Options for payment are daily, weekly and monthly, with a $10 membership fee upfront. The first visit is free.
Beginning on Oct. 15, the business will offer an open gym to anyone (including males) on Tuesdays and Thurdays from 6-9 p.m.
They will also open by appointment for groups participants. I'l B Fit will also accept referrals from Dr. Stephen Garbarini, who also has a business in the tech center.
In the future, plans call to add classes for yoga, hula hoop and step dancing.
