Bus Pickup Times

During the first week of school, bus pick up times may vary up to fifteen (15) minutes. Students should be at their pick up points on time. If parents have questions regarding the bus schedules, please call the RSU #10 Transportation Office at 562-7254, ext. 8231.

Activity Bus Runs

RSU #10 provides activity buses for the transportation of students who participate in after-school activities. These runs depart from the high schools and middle schools at approximately 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, on days that school is in session. Students who live along the designated routes may be dropped off at their homes; otherwise, they will be dropped off at the designated location(s) in each community.

Away Activities

Students who participate in sports or other activities are returned to their schools following the activity, or they may be dropped off if their homes are along the route back to the school. In addition, the RSU #10 Board has a policy that allows students to ride home from activities with parents or legal guardians.

MTN VALLEY REGION

Bus 2 – David Briggs

Approx time of first stop: 6:25 a.m.

Rte 232 house to house, South Rumford Rd to Milton Plantation Rd, back to South Rumford Rd, Holy Savior, RES, MVMS, MVHS.

Bus 4 – Steve Jannace

Approx time of first stop: 7:10 a.m.

K-5 students only on following stops: Mexico Post Office fence, Frosty Delite, NAPA, Main St, Granite St, Granite/Pleasant, Parker/Bucknum, Tucker/Parker, MES. K-12 following: house to house Backkingdom, MVMS, MES, Holy Savior.

Bus 5 – Walter Hammond

Approx time of first stop: 7:00 a.m.

Grades K-5 students only on following stops (Rumford): Pennacook Learning Center, Yvon’s Car Wash, Adley’s. Grades 6-12 (Mexico): Roxbury Road (after store), Orchard/Roxbury, Porter Bridge Rd, MES drop off, MVMS, Oxford/Granite, Green Church, RES drop off, MVHS.

Bus 6 – David LaMarque

Approx time of first stop: 6:45 a.m.

Byron Village Rd, Rte 17 south to Poplar Hill, Thompson Hill. Grades 6-12 only on following: MES, MVMS; pick up MVHS students only at Roxbury Rd/Brown St. PM run reversed.

Bus 7 – To Be Determined

Jed Martin Rd, Whippoorwill Rd, Rte 2 to Royal Ave, Sunnyside Terrace, Holy Savior, MES, MVMS, MVHS.

Dixfield/Canton Line 6:52 – Route 140/School St to Town Farm Road 7:00 - Dorry Rd 7:05 – Rte 140/School St to Canton/Jay Line 7:10 – School St to Pleasant St/Rt 108 7:20 – Pleasant Street to Summit Heights 7:25 – DES 7:35 – DHS 7:40 – DMS 7:45.

Transports elementary, middle, and high school students from the Carthage area. First pick up at Bradbury’s Mkt 6:46 – Goodwin Mill Rd 6:56 – West Side Rd 7:23 – 165 Weld St 7:30. Deliver students to DMS 7:35 – DHS 7:40 – DES 7:45.

Transports elementary, middle, and high school students from the Canton area. Turner St South – Farrand Hill 6:50 – Dearborn to Staples Hill 7:00 – Lake St/Main St 7:05 – Turn around at Bonney Road 7:10 – DES at 7:25 – arrive DHS at 7:35 – and arrive DMS at 7:40.
