Calling all River Valley singers!

REGION -- Calling all River Valley singers! Join the sixth annual Voice of the Valley Competition on January 19 to benefit the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN).
The singing competition brings together singers of all ages to compete for trophies and cash prizes, while supporting the lifesaving work of ACS CAN, the nation’s leading cancer advocacy organization that is working every day to make cancer issues a national priority.
The competition includes three categories -- youth, teen and adult -- and contestants in each category compete for a $100 prize and trophy, with second place winners receiving $50. Winners of the three categories then face off for the Voice of the Valley trophy and an additional $100 prize.
Registration forms and guidelines can be picked up at Davis Florist, 138 Congress St., Rumford, or by calling Diane Mitchell at 357-8621. The entry fee for all singers is $10 (non refundable). Auditions will be held the morning of January 19.
