If anyone is interested, my daughter’s wedding the weekend before last was unbelievable! Quality time spent with all of my family! The weather cooperated (I am so glad especially for her) and everyone had a great time. The caterer that we hired is a former classmate of mine at Mexico High and her husband is a Stephens High School graduate and they lived near the wedding site. Small world isn’t it? Now time to prepare for our next wedding!

The ninth Annual Franklin Bank/River Valley Rotary & Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will take place on July 12 at Oakdale Country Club in Mexico. There are still sponsorships available at this time. If anyone is interested call me at the Chamber office (364-3241).

The Dixfield Bicentennial 5K Road Race/Walk is scheduled for August 21. The race is sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank and The Fitch Company and presented by the River valley Chamber of Commerce and the River Valley Rotary. Once again for details please call or e-mail the chamber office.
