Forum on community inclusion
RUMFORD -- The Office of Adult Mental Health has partnered up with the Consumer Council System of Maine to provide the Rumford community with a series of free forums.
On Thursday, Feb. 9, they will be conducting a community forum on the topic of housing andspirituality and the relationship to Community Inclusion in Rumford. This will conducted at Rumford Public Library. To accommodate those who may have scheduling conflicts during the day, they are offering the forum from 2-4 p.m. and again from 5-7 p.m.
This is the beginning of an exciting opportunity for the Rumford community, as we will be having monthly community forums to discuss topics such as education, employment, transportation, valued social roles, citizenship/citizen engagement, health and wellness, leisure/recreation and finances.
They look forward to partnering up with some champions in Rumford to build a community where all people are included for their uniqueness and abilities.
