Countryfolk to open

EAST DIXFIELD -- The Countryfolk Music Theatre of Route 2 will open its 12th country music season on Memorial Day Weekend on Sunday, May 29 from noon to 6 p.m.
Many regular volunteer musicians, along with newcomers will kick off the summer of free to the public music at the popular venue.
Larry Bisbee, operator of the open-air theatre sais, “We are so pleased to start this 12th season of country music and youth music scholarships and have several country jamborees planned during the summer as well as our “Elvis” look-A-Like Contest.”
Countryfolk music is Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., has 20-40 volunteer musicians and is always free and for families. New musicians are always welcome. Bisbee can be reached at 645-4411.
