DEDC suggests option for Dixfield businesses

DIXFIELD -- At a recent meeting of the Dixfield Economic Development Council a discussion was held about offering an advertising option for those doing business in Dixfield during this difficult period of the bridge construction.

Folks are reluctant to attempt entering Dixfield because of traffic delays. Most delays are short. In order to encourage patrons to continue to support our local businesses, the possibility of coordinating a group ad with a collective heading in the Sun Journal was mentioned and perhaps added incentives for the advertiser and the shopper as well.
