Chisholm’s Tavern to hold fireworks fundraiser

RUMFORD -- This Friday, Chisholm’s Tavern invites everyone, 21 years of age and older, to join them for their River Valley Fireworks fundraiser.
The fundraiser will have live entertainment, starting at 8 p.m., and a $5 cover charge with all proceeds to go to the River Valley Fireworks celebration.
Live entertainment will be provided by country duo, and a Chisholm’s favorite, Jamie Virgin and Gary Petrie. Along with great music, plenty of red, white and blue drink specials will be offered throughout the evening.
Located at 136 Congress St. in historic downtown of Rumford Falls, Chisholm’s Tavern is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 to 11 p.m., Fridays, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Saturdays 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The River Valley Fireworks Celebration will be held at the Hosmer Field Complex on the Fourth of July. The celebration will offer games, food and a brilliant display of fireworks for the River Valley community.
