RSU 10 amends gate entrance fees
DIXFIELD -- With money being tight, the RSU 10 Board of Directors decided gate admission fees in the three regions will be charged for all contests when the lights are used.
To cover the cost of electricity, staff and security at these contests, the board, at its Aug. 13 meeting, voted the charge of high school boys' and girls' night soccer contests will be the same as what is charged for varsity football games -- $4 for adults and $2 for students and seniors.
It was decided to charge $2 for adults and $1 for students and seniors at middle school night contests. The lower cost is because less security is required.
Supt. Tom Ward said he will be meeting with athletic directors to come up with family pass prices.
