BILLINGS; AFTER THE FIRE- This past July Lloyd and Sue Billings of Milton Plantation lost their home, barn and members of their livestock to an electrical fire. On October 27, Pat Libby, a family friend, joined with the Billings’ daughter to host a fundraiser to help the family rebuild their barn. The new house is seen here with an inset photo of Sue looking over the remains of the charred barn in July. The family hopes to get started building the 20 ft. x 32 ft. barn in the days to come with the $3,400 that was raised during the fundraiser. (Times photo by Cherri Crockett)
