CANS FOR A CURE--

T.W. Kelly Middle School blew their donation goal out of the water last week when they surpassed their 6,000-can goal by more than 10,000. The sixth, seventh and eighth graders took turns counting the cans by hand during their three-day collection as part of Q97.9’s Cans for a Cure campaign. They filled David and Brenda Gammon’s horse trailer to capacity by the end of the day Friday. “The community has been awesome. It’s been a great experience for the entire school to be a part of,” stated principal Celena Ranger. (Times photos by Cherri Crockett)
