Patrols coordinate to educate

PATROLS COORDINATE TO EDUCATE-- On the Maine/Canada border of Coburn Gore, officers from Maine and New Hampshire State Police, Franklin and Oxford Counties in Maine, and Coos County, NH coordinated efforts with the Surete du Quebec and Ontario Provincial Police on Friday to launch the Traffic Safety Without Borders operation. Safety checkpoints were set up along major corridors between Canada and New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine to heighten road safety awareness and the difference in each countries' laws to travelers.
