SANTA FORGES SNOWSTORM TO VISIT CHILDREN-- It seems Santa unintentionally sabotaged Mrs. Claus’ visit to the Rumford Public Library last week when he forgot to outfit her vehicle with snow tires. Children took the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas and, in exchange, they received a gold (chocolate) coin. The little ones were delighted to see the man in the red suit taking time out of his busy schedule so close to Christmas Eve. Library elves also expressed great delight in the last-minute visit.
