BIKE RODEO -- Laurie Soucy of the RSU 10 Wellness Team fits a bicycle helmet to the head of three-year-old Madison Blanchard during the annual Mountain Valley Kids Fest Child Advocacy Day on Saturday, hosted by the Rumford Eagles. Before that, Rumford Police Sgt. Doug Maifeld spoke to the youngsters about the importance of wearing a bicycle helmet. Seventy helmets were handed out at the event, purchased through the Healthy Maine Partnership Grant.
