SWIM PROGRAM DONATION

SWIM PROGRAM DONATION -- Coulthard's Pools of Mexico recently donated swim trainers, goggles, noodles, dive rings, beach balls and a lap counterr to the Greater Rumford Community Center's swim program. From left are Stephanie Turner and Becky Coulthard (owner) of Coulthard's, and GRCC Program Director Bob Anderson, who noted that these items will help youngsters in the swim lesson program to get used to the water, not only at the Black Mountain pool, but at lessons taught at Roxbury and Worthley Pond as well. The swim program, which had 120 kids last year, has been taught for at least 35 years and has also provided summer jobs for a number of high school students. (Times photo by Bruce Farrin)
