NEW MEXICO LOADER BACKHOE ARRIVES -- Members of the Mexico Highway Department -- John Blais, Toby Duguay, Andy Gestaut, Jeff Wade, Phil Libby and parttimer Craig Wade -- with Town Manager John Madigan and Selectman George Byam, pose with their new Case loader backhoe, purchased by the town for $78,700 with the trade-in of their out-of-service 1988 John Deere backhoe. This multi-purpose machine (things like ditching and sewer line work) should be in service for some 20 years, noted Madigan. The machine was purchased in August but did not arrive until last week.
