Pumpkin Fest

Envision Rumford's Pumpkin Fest of the Island brought a lot of people downtown Saturday for fun, laughter and shopping opportunities. The first annual event offered something for everyone, including wagon rides, a pumpkin carving contest, sitting in the newly-acquired fire truck, helping George Kimball with the cider press, posing with the Great Pumpkin for a photo, and people like Kylee Bickford getting a henna tattoo (temporary) from Chris Howe.
