VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE

VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE -- Students at Mtn. Valley High School were very active in Sunday's Veterans Day tribute. Here, students play an arrangement used during the Revoluntional War, something they practiced a month for. In the inset, student Shannon Santillo sang the Star Spangled Banner. The guest speaker for the event was Ed Roach, past Department of Maine commander for the American Legion and former Post 24 commander. "As Americans, we all equally share the responsibility owed to our veterans, especially wounded soldiers. They have earned the right to be treated with dignity and respect."
