Honoring their own

RUMFORD MILL EMPLOYEES HONORING THEIR OWN -- Each Christmas, decorating your Christmas Tree is like working with a blank slate and you want it to be perfect. This season, the recent deaths of two young local soldiers, Andrew Hutchins, the son of Jeff Hutchins, and Buddy McLain, son-in-law of Brenda Freeman, both workers at the Rumford mill, hit home and it was an easy choice to decorate the Main Office Lobby Christmas Tree in their honor. Employees donating $5 or more to the effort were given American flag ornaments to write a message on before hanging them on the tree. Over $1,750 was raised and given to the families.
