Louise (Barrieau) Beaudet


REGION -- Louise (Barrieau) Beaudet, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 24, 2012, with her family at her side.

Louise had a beautiful voice and sang with the Leasure League Singers going to minister at assisted living and nursing facilities.

Her desire to give to others did not end there, she also volunteered, driving people to and from the grocery store, hair dressers, as well as doctors appointments for Meals on Wheels for four years.

Louise was the children's librarian at the Rumford Public Library for 18 years, she also worked in the Lab at the Oxford Paper Mill before moving to Connecticut then to California to be with her family.

Louise is survived by her three children, daughter Marie and her husband, Edward Johnson, daughter Lynn and her husband, Ray Strickland, son Dean and his wife, Sally Beaudet; granddaughters, Kara (Beaudet) Priest, Kori Beaudet and Stephanie (Johnson) Doornbos; great-granddaughter Payton Doornbos; and two brothers, Joseph and Leonard Barrieau.

Louise was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Beaudet.

She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. A private service will be held.
