Allen Robert Bodwell
ANDOVER -- Allen Robert Bodwell, 79, died on February 11, 2013 at his residence on Pine Street, Andover.
He was born June 9, 1933 in Rumford, the son of Harold and Eva (Damon) Bodwell. He graduated from Andover High School Class of 1957 and had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1958.
Allen worked at Andover Wood Products for many years retiring from the sawing department.
He was a member of Napoleon Ouellette Post #24, American Legion; member of the Maine Snowmobile Association; member of the Snow Valley Sno-goers Snowmobile Club; a member of the Roxbury ATV Club; and a member of Pineland Ski Club.
Survivors include his sister, Ruth Hilton and husband, Russell “Dusty” of Andover; niece, Joscelyne Hilton and companion, Craig Silva of Lebanon; nephew, Jason Hilton and companion, Tracey Jean of Lebanon; great-nieces, Emily Silva and Zoe Hilton of Lebanon; and a great-nephew, Jacob Hilton of D’lberville, MS.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, David Bodwell.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be conducted in the spring at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Andover, Maine. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Heart Rehab, c/o Main registration, Rumford Hospital, 420 Franklin St., Rumford, ME 04276 in his memory.
