David D. Chaisson Sr.
RUMFORD -- David D. Chaisson Sr., 78, died on September 2, 2011 at the Rumford Hospital. He was a resident of Upton Road in Andover.
Born in Mexico on June 27, 1933, he was a son of the late Philip and Jessie (MacPherson) Chaisson. He attended Andover Schools.
He worked for TRW as a mechanic and foreman. David was a member of Charity Masonic Lodge in Cambridge, MA, Knights of Pythias, Rumford Lodge #862, BPOE, Andover Congregational Church where he served as a Deacon.
He was married in Andover on May 29, 1954 to Philena Crooker, who survives of Andover.
Other survivors include three sons, David Chaisson, Jr. and his wife, Denise of Salisbury, MA, John Chaisson and his wife, Carmen of Huachuca City, AZ, and Mark Chaisson and his wife, Nelia of Mexico; a daughter, Mary Louise Chaisson of Waltham, MA; a brother, George Chaisson and his wife, Jacqueline of Bridgton; four sisters, Grace Guimentaro and her husband, Robert of Shrewsbury, MA, Peggy Ann Roberts of West Paris, Eleanor Tuttle and her husband, Dale of Wichandon, MA., and Jeannine Sullivan of Cambridge, MA; and many grandchildren.
He predeceased by a daughter, Myra; and many siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Andover Congregational Church with Rev. Jane Rich officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Andover.
