Doris D. Fulton
WEST RICHLAND, WA -- Doris D. Fulton, 70, passed away from this life into the arms of Jesus on March 11, 2013.
She was born to Gerard and Regina Dufour on April 18, 1942 in Rumford. She grew up as the baby in a fun family of three girls, and managed to make it through it all to graduate from Mexico High School in 1959.
Doris (sometimes also lovingly known as Dody) married the love of her life, Dale on August 19, 1967 and they started a business for Dale called Dale's Refridgeration. Doris enjoyed living on Knox Street as she could take care of the business and play cards with her dad and enjoy her mom's fresh bread quite often. Eventually, they decided to move to Arizona to find work for Dale, but moved again; eventually settling in Richland, WA.
Dody was a gifted bookkeeper, working for several businesses throughout the years, including Appliance Guardian, Interstate Wheel and Arlene’s Flowers. She also worked as a property manager for Robert Young at various complexes, making life long friends along the way.
Her hobbies included making beautiful crocheted tablecloths, often giving them out as gifts when they were complete.
Those left behind to mourn her include her sister, Luci Gilbert and husband, Donald of Rumford; her children, Ron Fulton, and Shayne and Peter Bono; her grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Andrew Shupe, Casey and Kellen Belew; single grandchildren, Brianne Fulton, Veronica Fulton and Vanessa Fulton.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Gerard and Regina Dufour and her sister, Jeannine Palmer.
Doris will be buried, along with her beloved Dale on Saturday, June 29, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Cemetary in Rumford.
