FRAMINGHAM, MA -- Eugene “Geno” Richard, 72, of Framingham, MA, passed away on October 15, 2012 where he spent the last two years of his life in the Wingate Nursing Home in Sudbury, MA.

Eugene was born May 26, 1940 in Mexico, son of the late Wilfred and Catherine Richard. He attended Mexico High School and served in U.S. Air Force.

He moved to Framingham, MA and was employed at the Sealtest Ice Cream Factory, where he worked for 35 years until his retirement.

He was married to Donna Cohen, who passed away in 2010.

Surviving are two stepsons, James Lefevre of Framingham, MA, and Jack Lefevre and wife, Michele of Holliston, MA; two sisters, Muriel Bedard of Rumford, and Pamela Marcellino and husband, Joseph of Rumford; two brothers, Raymond Richard and wife, Rosanne of Northport, FL, and Roger Richard and wife, Susan of Rumford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Donna; and three brothers, Leroy, Francis and Dennis Richard.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Wingate Nursing Home and Hospice, and a special thank you to his two stepsons, Jim and Jack, for always being there for him.
