Timothy A. Frost
LEWISTON -– Timothy A. Frost, 69, of 3rd Street in Dixfield, died unexpectedly on Sept. 7, 2011 at CMMC in Lewiston.
He was born in Rumford on November 29, 1941, a son of William F. and Iola (Ellis) Frost. Tim was employed with Stowell McGregor Saw Mill in Dixfield for many years.
He was a member of the Dixfield Fire Department for over 40 years and was a member of the LeParesseux Snowshoe Club. Tim enjoyed fishing, sitting on his bench in front of his home and buying scratch tickets.
He also loved spending time with the girls at Towle’s Corner Store.
Surviving are four brothers, Dexter Frost of Carthage, Morton Frost and wife, Sandra of Mexico, William Frost and wife, Rose of Dixfield, and Terrance Frost and wife, Carolyn of Dixfield; two sisters, Sharon Lee and husband, Steven of Weld, and Linda Hinkley of Andover; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; and two sisters, Priscilla Lee and Sandra Martin.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at CMMC for the wonderful care given to Tim.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery in Dixfield with Rev. John Gensel officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tim’s memory may be made to the CMMC Special Care Unit, 12 High St., Lewiston, ME 04240.
