Lydia “Tootie” Hines
FARMINGTON -- Lydia “Tootie” Hines, 85, a resident of Farmington, passed away on July 21, 2013 at Edgewood Manor in Farmington.
She was born March 22, 1928 in Rumford, the daughter of Leroy Jordan and Bessie (Spofford) Jordan. She attended school in Rumford.
Lydia worked at Bass Shoe Shop and retired in 1989. She was a member of the Snowshoe Club of Rumford, enjoyed playing bingo, but especially loved time spent with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelby Nichols and her husband, Dennis of Fayette; three sons, Richard Arsenault and his wife, Marilyn of Everett, WA, Gary Arsenault and his wife, Lucy of Exeter, NH, and John Healy and his wife, Kathy of Raymond, NH; 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; her brother, Ken Jordan of Livermore; sister, Hazel Applebee of Levittown, PA; half brother, Robert Jordan and his wife, Tammy of Florida; and half sister, Ethel Scott and her husband, Robert of Waterford.
She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Bessie and Irving Churchill; father and stepmother, Leroy and Marion Jordan; two sisters, Viola Robichaud and Doris Moro; and recently lost her granddaughter, Tracy Nichols.
