Donald Hodsdon
MEXICO -- Donald Hodsdon, 46, of Mexico died unexpectedly at his home on January 9, 2013. He was a resident of Mexico Avenue.
Born in Rumford on June 8, 1966, he was the eldest son of Roscoe and Lorrie (Jones) Hodsdon. He attended schools around the globe, graduating from Plattsmouth High School, Nebraska in 1984, later graduating from New Hampshire Trucking Academy.
He worked over 20 years for various long-haul trucking companies including Aulenbach Trucking. Donald touched the lives of many in the local community as an oil delivery driver for CN Brown and was also a volunteer firefighter for the town of Mexico. He loved coaching youth baseball, basketball and floor hockey.
Donald was married in Lewiston on June 6, 1992 to Karen Trepanier, who survives of Mexico. Other survivors include his three children, Heather of Rumford, Eric and Zachary of Mexico; his parents, Ross and Lorrie of Roxbury; his mother-in-law, Doris Trepanier and sister-in-law Rebekka Trepanier of Lewiston; three brothers, Archie and his wife, Amy, Roy and his wife, Renee, and Ray, all of Roxbury; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
