Sharon B. Packard
LEWISTON -- Sharon B. Packard, 58, of Auburn died on September 3, 2011 at Central Maine Medical Center with loved ones by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on November 19, 1952, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Maroon) Banulis. She graduated from Lewiston High School Class of 1971.
Sharon worked for the Hannaford grocery chain for 19 years, most recently as assistant customer service manager and bookkeeper for Hannaford in Jay.
She loved sunny days, spending time at the beach, watching the Red Sox, cooking, and spending time with her family. Sharon had a passion for helping others and putting smiles on the faces of those around her.
Survivors include her daughters, Jessica Arsenault and husband, Brian of Rumford, Jennifer Packard and fiance, Mark Tripp of Rumford, and Joan Gill and husband, Mike of Shapleigh; grandchildren, Levon Mickeriz of Rumford and Benjamin Gill of Shapleigh; sisters, Charlene Banulis of Wells, and Joan Lawler of Auburn; and “the love of her life,” Tim Alexander of Auburn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Friday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius–St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Oncology Department, c/o Central Maine Medical Center, 300 Main St., Lewiston, ME 04240 in her memory.
