Viola Pelletier

LEWISTON -– Viola Pelletier, 91, of Andover Road in Rumford, died on June 24, 2011 at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston.

She was born in Ft. Kent on December 5, 1919, a daughter of Alex and Henriette (Pelletier) Madore.

Viola was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.

Viola was a great cook and loved to knit and crochet. She also loved camping at Campobella.

Surviving are her children, Florence Leblanc and husband, Daniel J. of Lisbon Falls, Theresa Richard and husband, Victor J. of Rumford Center, Joseph G. Pelletier and wife, Barbara of Rumford Center, Roland R. Pelletier and wife, Nancy of Auburn, and Ray Pelletier and wife, Margaret of Tennessee; two sisters, Natalie Pelletier of East Enfield, CT, and Albertine Boutot and husband, Claude of Wolcott, CT; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Reginald Pelletier; four sons, twins Harold and Gerald, Norman and Roger; two sisters, Verna Winter and Nola Ouellette; a brother, Lucien Madore; and a granddaughter, Dorraine Marie LeBlanc.
