Clare E. Piawlock
BETHEL -- Clare E. Piawlock, 84, died on May 8, 2013 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. She was a resident of East Bethel.
Born in Bethel on May 26, 1928, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Gladys (Bartlett) Tyler. She was a graduate of Gould Academy.
She worked at the Casco Bank, bookkeeper for Hanover Dowell Mill in Bethel for many years and also was a self-employed tax consultant. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting and crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
She was married in East Bethel on July 15, 1951 to James W. Piawlock Sr., who died in East Bethel on October 23, 1982.
Survivors include her children, Terry Piawlock and wife, Linda of Farmington, Michael Piawlock of Bethel, Wendy Annis and husband, Scott of Bethel, Brian Piawlock of East Bethel, Brenda Piawlock of Mason Township; a step-daughter, Carol Chisholm and husband, Richard of Wellesley, MA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Smith and husband, Homer of Northwest Bethel.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Wanda Monbleau; and a step-son, James Piawlock, Jr.
