Dorilla E. Richard
LEWISTON -- Dorilla E. Richard, 84, formerly of Lincoln Avenue in Rumford, passed away on June 7, 2013 at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston, following a brief illness.
She was born in Mexico, a daughter of Charles and Edith (Legere) Richard. Dorilla attended St. John's School and was a graduate of Stephens High School Class of 1947.
She was employed as an accountant with Boise Cascade for many years. Dorilla was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior. She loved walking, trips to the coast, bowling, doing yard work, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are a sister, Lita Glazier of Lisbon; two brothers, Allen Richard of Connecticut and Rene Richard of Lisbon; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Yvonne Deraspe and Viola Chiasson; and a brother, Michael Richard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Parish of the Holy Savior. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. If so desired, contributions in Dorilla’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter 170, U.S. Route One, Ste. 250, Falmouth, ME 04105.
