Jean was born on March 17, 1944 in Rumford. She attended school in Byron, and graduated from high school in 1962 from Piscataway High in Newmarket, NJ.

She was a faithful member of the Assembly of God Church on Congress Street.

She is survived by her brothers, Spencer Sweatt of Weymouth, MA, Jim Richmond of Lewiston; half-brother, Lawrence Sweatt of Pittsfield; sisters, June Beaudet of Chicopee, MA, and Jane Philbrick McDonald of Rumford; daughters, Elizabeth Richmond of Newport, April Richmond of Mexico with son-in-law, Stacy Cunningham; granddaughter, Claire Rose Elaine Cunningham; and many nieces and nephews.

Jean is predeceased by grandmother Ada E. Shaw; mother, Ramona Sweatt; father, Albert Richmond; step-father, Lawrence V. Sweatt; and sister, Joan.

A remembrance gathering was held in her honor at the Muskie building where her life and memory was rejoiced. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift in Jean's name to the Assembly of God Church so that her memory may best be served serving others in her community.
