Richard Charles Schwind Sr.
NASHUA, NH -- Richard Charles Schwind Sr., 80, died on Oct. 3, 2012 at Langdon Place in Nashua, NH of complications from congestive heart failure.
Born in Rumford on Christmas day in 1931, Dick was the son of the late Wilmont M. Schwind and Helen Moorehouse Schwind, longtime residents of Rumford. After graduation from Boston University Law School, he worked as an executive recruiter at several firms.
He married Patricia Lee Perry, now Coughlin, in 1963 and started both a family and a successful antique business in Hollis, NH.
A lifelong fan of the New England Patriots, Richard also enjoyed politics, meticulously monitoring the stock market, collecting antiques, bird watching and gardening.
He was the beloved father of three children, Richard C. Schwind, Jr., Margaret Lee Ward and John G. Schwind. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Matthew and Haylee Schwind, Abigail and Evan Ward; his brother, Wilmont M. Schwind; and nephew, Jeffrey Schwind.
