Kathy Ann Shover-Vattes

RUMFORD –- Kathy Ann Shover-Vattes, 48, died on November 7, 2012 in Rumford. She was a resident of Washington Street in Rumford.

Born in Rumford on June 9, 1964, she was a daughter of Lawrence and Judy (Sinclair) Shover. She was a graduate of Mexico High School class of 1982 and Westbrook College. She worked as a dental hygienist in the Children’s Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas. She was very talented in arts and crafts

She is survived by her two daughters, Christa and Chelsea Vattes of Mexico; her father, Lawrence Shover of Mexico; her mother, Judy Shover of Rumford; two sisters, Deborah Shover of Rumford and Laurie Shover of Mexico; paternal grandmother, Esther Watson of Canton.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 116 Penobscot St., Rumford, with Fr. Timothy Parsons officiating. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Christa Vattes Education Fund, c/o Franklin Savings Bank, 155 Congress St., Rumford, ME 04276 in her memory.
