Thomas “Tommy” M. Souther
LIVERMORE FALLS -- Thomas “Tommy” M. Souther, 43, a resident of Souther Road, Livermore Falls, passed unexpectedly on September 22, 2012 at his home.
He was born on February 14, 1969 in Lewiston, the son of Wilbur and Patty (Berthaume) Souther. Tom was a 1988 graduate of Jay High School.
He had worked for Howie’s Welding in Jay and was currently driving truck for Johnny Castonguay. He was a former member of United Bikers of Maine and the East Dixfield Fire Department.
Tom was an avid hunter, and loved the outdoors, he liked to go to his camp in Shirley, and loved riding his Harley. He was a loving and devoted father, son, grandson, brother, nephew and friend like no other. Anyone that knew Tom, knew that his daughter Tricia was the love of his life, he would say he “busts his ass for her” and he never regretted one minute of it, because he would say, “she was the best thing that ever happened to him.”
He always had that shine in his eyes and a smile on his face and it would make you wonder, “What’s he up to now?” He will be forever loved and missed by his family, friends and others whose life he touched.
He is survived by his daughter, Tricia Faye “The Boss” Souther, her mother, Beckie Souther, his stepson, Maverick Real, all of Wilton; his father, Wilbur Souther, and grandfather, Leroy Souther of Livermore Falls; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen “Kay” Berthaume of Lewiston; stepfather, Robert Hodgkins of Mexico; his sister, Melissa Theriault of Mexico; his companion, Michelle Jackson and her children, Brianna and Jordan of Wilton; uncles, Waldo Souther, Clark Souther and his wife, Helen, and Ernest Souther and his wife, Ronda all of Livermore Falls; aunts, Peggy Rollins of Lewiston and Pam Walton of Minot; his nephew, Michael Theriault and his niece, Lynda Theriault, both of Mexico; his best friend, who was like a brother, Louis Quirrion and his wife, Katy of Livermore; and many cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Patty Souther; infant sister, Julie Souther; grandmother, Melvina Souther; and uncle, Robert Rallis.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Finley Funeral Home, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Visiting hours prior to the funeral from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 100 Fayette Rd., Livermore Falls.
