James A. Taylor
AUBURN -- James A. Taylor, 88, died on October 8, 2013 at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was a resident of Swett Avenue in Mexico.
Born in Mexico on May 17, 1925, he was the son of James Henry and Mary (Ludington) Taylor. He attended Mexico schools.
He worked in the instrument department at Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford until his retirement in 1986 after more than 42 years. He was a member of the Napoleon Ouellette Post #24, American Legion. He was an avid coin collector and loved to read anything historical.
He was married in Dixfield on Dec. 21, 1992 to Rosemary Jodrey, who survives of Mexico.
Other survivors include three daughters, Jeanne Magyar and her husband, Robert of Meriden, CT, Brenda Perreault and her husband, Ron of Auburn, Cynthia Gould and her companion, Dana Bartlett of Dixfield; a son, James Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Brenda of Madeira, FL; step-sons, Duayne Jodrey and his wife, Linda of Andover, George Casivant and his wife, Jennifer of Portland; a sister, Joyce McKenna of Rumford; many grandchildren, step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
