Mary Louise Teske

CANTON -- Mary Louise Teske, 101, of Pleasant Street in Canton, formerly of West Peru, passed away on January 3, 2013 at the Victorian Villa.

She was born on April 13, 1911 in St. Francis, a daughter of Theophile and Matilda (LaFrance) Pelletier. Mary attended Lincoln Elementary School in St. Francis and was a graduate of St. Francis High School.

She enjoyed family gatherings and working on the family farm. She was also the family beautician and barber. Mary enjoyed snowshoeing, cooking, dancing and drive in the family car.

Surviving are her sisters, Mabel Schaefer of Avon Park, FL and Mildred Drovat of Hartford, CT; and two nephews, Bruce Pelletier of Lewiston and James Pelletier of Caribou.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Albert Teske.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday January 24 at Parish of the Holy Savior. Spring interment will be in Waite Cemetery in Peru.
