Norman Theriault
MEXICO -- Norman Theriault, 79, died on March 25, 2011 in Clearwater, FL, surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Mexico.
Born in Rumford on November 13, 1931, he was a son of the late Leo and Stella (Parise) Theriault. He was a graduate of Stephens High School.
He worked as a soft bleach operator for Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford until his retirement.
Norman was a communicant of St. Athanasius–St. John Church. He was a 29-year member of AA and was also a member of
Rumford Maine Lodge #862, BPOE. He was an avid sports fan and he also enjoyed his walks.
He was married in Rumford on June 23, 1951 to Gloria A. Sullivan, who survives of Mexico.
Other survivors include two sons, Joseph Theriault and his wife, Sonja of Minot, and Peter Theriault of Carthage; five daughters, Cynthia Theriault of Mexico, Susan Roy and her husband, Sheldon of Port Charlotte, FL, Norma Theriault of Mexico, Mary Ann Conroy of Saco and Joanie Daniel of Durham; four brothers, Lawrence Theriault and his wife, Bobbi of Florida, Bert Theriault and his companion, Nancy of Florida, Phil Theriault and his wife, Sally of
Portland, John Theriault and his wife, Marilyn of Florida; daughter-in-law, Vera Theriault of Rumford; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Frank Theriault.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at St. Athanasius–St. John Church. Friends are invited to call at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St Rumford, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Visitation at 6 p.m. by BPOE #862.
