Wallace F. Virgin
AUGUSTA –- Wallace F. Virgin, 77, of Brittany Lane in Canton, died unexpectedly on April 13, 2011 at the VA Hospital.
He was born in Weld on December 25, 1933, a son of Alvah and Florence (Hackett) Virgin.
Wallace served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1955.
He was a woodsman, working for logging companies in Carthage and New York. Wallace enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dog Gidget, and was always there when someone needed something.
He loved playing and listening to country music, fishing, hunting, and playing cribbage on the computer.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Pamela L. (White) Virgin of Canton; children, Mary Virgin Brooks and husband, Carl of Dixfield, Steven Virgin and companion, Amanda of Carthage; stepsons, Kippy Turner and wife, Anita of
Carthage, and Skip Turner and wife, Alethea; stepdaughter, Missy Timberlake and husband, Mike of Canton; two brothers, George Virgin and wife, Jennie of Dixfield, and Ralph Virgin of Carthage; and nine grandchildren, Brielle, Jazmine, Clifford, Tricia, Erin, Haley, Lauren, Cameron and Grace.
He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Wallace F. Virgin; seven sisters and three brothers.
At Wallace’s request, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers contributions in Wallace’s memory may be made to McKennel’s Animal Adoption Agency, 88 Hall Hill Rd., Rumford, ME 04276.
