Sherrell A. Bartlett
SPRING HILL, FL -- Sherrell A. (Cackett) Bartlett, 52, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Rindge, NH, passed away on May 18, 2013. She lost her courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Fitchburg, MA on Feb. 23, 1961, the daughter of Reginald and Evelyn Cackett.
Sherry was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a charter member of the Advent Lutheran Church in Rindge, NH. Before moving to Spring Hill, she was employed as a paraprofessional caring for her special friend, Amy, and many others at the Rindge Memorial School for many years.
On Aug. 21, Sherry and her loving husband, James (formerly of Rumford Point), would have been married for 31 years. She loved reading, watching sunsets at the beach, taking "Lucy" for walks, and staying connected with her daughters and grandsons with Skype.
Sherry will be sorely missed, and will always be remembered for welcoming family and friends into her home. As she would say, "Check gloom and doom at the door, bring chocolate."
In addition to her husband, Jim, Sherry is survived by their children, Nathan and his partner, James of Plante City, FL, Jessica (Kenneth) Patria of Temple, NH and Heather (Zack) Woolford of Jaffery, NH; her special grandsons, Ayden Woolford and Connor Patria; her brother, Alan Cackett; two sisters, Deborah Acerbi and Lisa Vitelli; brother/sisters-in-law, Eugene (Robin) Bartlett of Mobile, AL and Garry (Margie) Bartlett of Hanover; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Advent Lutheran Church in Rindge, NH.
