Funeral services held for Leo Blouin
RUMFORD -- A Mass of Christian Burial for Leo Blouin of South Rumford was celebrated on June 21, 2012 at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, with Fr. Philip Tracy as celebrant.
Altar Assistant was Nick Puiia. Organist was Mark Belanger.
Music selections were Amazing Grace, The Lord is My Shepherd, Like a Child Rest, Ave Maria, and On Eagle’s Wings. Readings were given by Laura Qualey and Doreen Gallant.
Eulogy was given by son-in-law Trevor Jones who also read a letter from Mr. Blouin’s son, David. Gift presenters were grandchildren Collin and Aaron Jones.
Pall bearers were Steve Blouin, Joe Qualey, Steve Howard, George Blanchard, Mike Kane, and Larry Laperle.
Committal services were conducted by Fr. Philip Tracy at St. John Cemetery, Rumford.
Military Honors were given by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program from Augusta.
A reception followed at the Parish Hall of the church.
Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
