Laurent F.J. Boulanger Sr.
TEKOA, WA -- Laurent F.J. Boulanger Sr., 69, of Tekoa, WA, formerly of Meredith, NH, passed away on April 8, 2012 of heart failure. He had been a patient of the Tekoa Care Center for the past seven years.
He was born in Rumford on June 30, 1942, the son of the late Louis L. and Leah M. (Grimard) Boulanger. He attended St. John Catholic School and Stephens High School in Rumford.
While living in Maine, he was employed as a butcher. He later moved to Meredith, NH, where he worked as a machinist for Lewis & Saunders of Laconia, NH, later relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, continuing as a machinist. In 1995, he suffered a heart attack and became disabled, then relocated to the Seattle, WA area and moved to the Tekoa Care Center.
Larry was an avid sportsman as he loved to hunt, fish, camp and snowmobile. He always loved and enjoyed time spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his seven children, Lisa Boulanger of New Hampton, NH, Laurent Boulanger, Jr. of Denton, TX, Linda Seaman of Spokane Valley, WA, Leanne Reruink of Madison, SD, Stephen Boulanger of Dover, DE, Jennifer Monty of New Hampton, and Heather Boulanger of New Hampton; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his brothers, Edward (Susan Brant) Boulanger of Claremont, NC, Jacques Boulanger of Rumford and Dennis (Lucienne "Cookie") Boulanger of Meredith; his sisters, Jeanine Hall of Rumford, Denise (Clayton) Libby of Dixfield; a brother-in-law, James Parisi Sr. of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gerard Boulanger, and his sister, Phyllis Parisi.
